  • 1/2 lb Aqua Star Calamari Rings and Tentacles, thawed and cooked according to package directions
  • olive oil
  • flour for dusting
  • 1 lb refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced basil

To make

Preheat oven to 425 F. Grease a 17”x11” sheet tray with olive oil. Lightly dust a work surface with flour. Form the dough into a large disk. Press out the dough from the center, either with your hands or a rolling pin. If dough starts to shrink back, wait a few minutes, then continue pressing the dough out until you have a 14”x10” rectangle. Place the dough on the greased sheet tray. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough and top with shredded cheese, basil and calamari. Bake for 12-18 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling. Let the pizza cool slightly. Slice into pieces and serve.
