Ingredients

  • 1 package MicroSteam® al la Carte Sesame Ginger Wild Salmon
  • ¾ cup brown rice, uncooked
  • ¼ cup fresh mixed green salad
  • ¼ cup snap peas, trimmed and cleaned
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp pickled ginger, julienned

To make

Instructions

Add brown rice to medium saucepan; fill with water to about ½" above rice and add a pinch of salt. Heat over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Bring ½ cup of water to boil in a small saucepan, add snap peas and cook for 3-4 minutes. While snap peas are steaming, begin cooking the salmon according to package directions. When rice, salmon, and snap peas are ready, split between two bowls. Add avocado slices and carefully pour the sesame ginger sauce over the salmon and the rest of the bowl. Garnish with the julienned pickled ginger. Enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

Add a little extra spice with a pinch of red pepper flakes.
