You don’t need chips to make nachos. We’re putting our own spin on a favorite snack and appetizer that seafood lovers will drool over. All you need are crunchy butterfly shrimp, melty cheese and your favorite nacho toppings.

  • One 1.5 lb bag Aqua Star Butterfly Crunchy Shrimp
  • 1 ½ cups sharp shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (if desired)
  • 2 cups salsa

To make


Bake shrimp according to directions on the package. When done cooking, turn the oven up to broil. Top the shrimp with shredded cheddar cheese. Place under the broiler until cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and transfer the shrimp to a serving plate. Top with green onion, olives, cilantro (if using) and some of the salsa. Serve with the remaining salsa on the side.

Serving Suggestions

Other toppings: sour cream and guacamole.
Serve as a side or appetizer to salmon burger tacos.
