Cooking & preparation instructions

Thawing: Thaw for a minimum of 8 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Serve Warm: With a sharp knife, split tail in two lengthwise. Brush the meat with melted butter and cook shell-side down.

Oven: Preferred Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C); place split tails on a baking sheet and bake in center of oven for 14 - 16 minutes


  • Preheat broiler; place split tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8 - 10 minutes


  • Grill over MEDIUM-HIGH heat for 8 - 10 minutes, turning halfway through; baste frequently with melted butter during grilling

Lobster is cooked when the shell turns red and the meat is opaque. Serve with melted garlic lemon butter, aioli or cocktail sauce. Since appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.

Safe Handling

Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze thawed lobster. Store thawed lobster in the refrigerator and use within two days.
